Overview
Our small in-house design team worked together to design, in my opinion, one of the most beautiful Ai powered frictionless store at Valet Market. Every detail was a group collaboration and I could not be any prouder of what we accomplished. To handle communications with customers, we equipped the store with multiple commercial displays to provide information.

Leader Board
We collaborated on the design and development for the Leader Board. I tapped into our internally developed api to feed content and delivery status to the display. The Leader Board also had a small banner below for promotional messages to help increase basket size.

Entrance Display
The Entrance Display was situated next to the entrance turnstile where customers scan in. It provided information on store occupancy and capacity as well as store status and scan authorization. Initially we had configurable entrance displays developed prior to my employment at Accel Robotics. It was more of a prototype and mainly designed for a tablet and was not responsive. I improved the designed and developed a theming feature that could be easily configured for any brand and display size.

Informational and Promotional
The last set of displays were tasked with serving informational and promotional content. I leveraged the displays web browser to serve content from a Prismic CMS. I had issues serving 4k content to these displays. They were distorted and pixelated. It took me some time after countless hours scouring documents and forums. It turns out, I just needed to transcode the video to HEVC (H.265).
